A second main aim of the project is to increase the uptake of EV's at large commercial and public fleets, through hands-on coaching and TCO calculations for fleet management. Harm was from 2006-2012 strongly involved in the initiation and realisation of the Automotive Campus in the Netherlands, the hotspot for research, development and education, for which he also did with his team the overall business planning and funding application, including for the - meanwhile realised - advanced test facilities for automotive SME's on for example Electric Mobility. As part of business development support programs, Harm initiated and has since 2005 led numerous business development and innovation missions for Dutch companies to other EU countries, to Asia and North America, many with a strong focus on EV. President Wiewel's leadership has not gone unnoticed, and since his arrival at PSU he has received the inaugural Presidential Award from the U.S. Green Building Council's Center for Green Schools as well as the Leadership Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Higher Education.
